Resin – Porcelain Veneers

Veneers can be applied  to change the shape (eg.  worn or fractured teeth) and colour of teeth, fill in  existing gaps, aesthetically improve the the position of teeth, etc. The main materials used are resin and porcelain.

Veneers are the most conservative aesthetic solution since they are characterized by minimal loss of tooth substance (especially in comparison to crowns/chairs).

Resin veneers: With the use of resin, veneers are applied during one appointment. Apart from the immediacy of the procedure, resin has the advantage of easy colour/shape correction, during the appointment.

Porcelain veneers: Porcelain is a durable material which also provides perfect aesthetic results. Two appointments are usually required: in the 1st one the teeth are prepared, impressed and temporary veneers are made, while in the 2nd one the porcelain veneers are bonded.
